  • If a match is suspended before full time is reached and not completed the same day, wagers on the outcome of the match are void and all stakes shall be returned.
  • Moneyline with a Draw (tie) - These are the most common odds used for soccer. The bettor has three choices, team A, team B and the draw. Soccer handicap betting:

Whole Goal ( -1 goal ) - The pre-match favorite receives a -1 goal handicap on the match result after regulation time. If the match ends in a draw after regulation time or the (+1) underdog wins, the (+1) underdog is considered the winner on the handicap result. If the favorite wins the match in regulation time by 2 goals or more, the favorite wins on the handicap result. If the favorite wins by 1 goal in regulation time, the result is a draw on the handicap.

Half Goal (-0.5 goals ) – The pre-match favorite receives a -½ goal handicap on the match result after regulation time. If the match ends in a draw or the (+0.5) underdog wins the match after regulation time, the (+0.5) underdog is considered the winner on the handicap result. If the favorite wins the match by 1 goal or more at the end of regulation time, then the favorite will win on the handicap.

The Enhanced Odds Parlays

The Enhanced Odds Parlays are 2, 3 or 4 team parlays with a small % bonus added in the odds. If one match is voided the remaining selections still stand as a parlay, with the odds being based on those initially offered on our normal soccer lines.

For example : In the case of a 3 or 4 team parley; if one match is voided the parlay will be reverted to the next lowest number for payoff. So the 4 team parlay will be graded as a 3 team parlay and the 3 team parley will be graded as a 2 team parlay. As for the 2 team parlay, if one match is voided it will become a straight bet payout.

Player to score at any time

All players who take part in a game will be considered action. If a match is abandoned before the first goal is scored all bets are void. This includes no goalscorer. Own goals do not count towards the settlement of bets. Regulation time only.

Time of first goal

If a game is abandoned after the first goal is scored, then all bets stand. Regulation time only.

1st Half betting / Half time result

Bets will be void if the game is abandoned before half time.

Half time / Full time result

Bets will be void if the game is abandoned. Regulation time only.

Top goalscorer

Goals scored in regulation time and extra time count. Penalty shoot-out goals do not count. Dead-Heat rules apply in case of 2 or more players with the same amount of goals scored.

Draw No Bet

Pick a team to win a game. If the score is tied at the end of regulation time your bet will be refunded. Regulation time only.

Soccer Betting Basics

With over 3.5 billion fans, soccer is easily the world's most popular sport. So it's no surprise that soccer (a.k.a. football) is also the most heavily bet-upon sport too. This is especially the case when the FIFA World Cup rolls around every four years because it draws major interest from pretty much every country in the world.

Beyond World Cup betting, people can also wager on the Premier League, La Liga, Major League Soccer and more. With such a wealth of opportunities available, it's definitely worth taking a closer look at soccer betting, including how lines work, different odds, various types of bets, and picking an online sportsbook.

How Soccer Lines work

Assuming your online sportsbook targets the American market, you'll most likely be dealing with moneyline odds. It's easiest to explain the moneyline with an example, so let's look at one involving the MLS below:

New York Red Bulls   -170
Draw   +240
New England Revolution   +340

Anybody who's familiar with moneylines in other sports will immediately notice that a Draw option is available. In this instance, betting on the game to end in a tie would pay out $240 for every $100 wagered. Likewise, if you only bet $10, a winning tie bet would pay out $24 total.

Assuming New York wins, those betting on the favorite would earn $170 ($70 profit) for every $100 risked. A successful wager on New England would result in $340 ($240 profit) per $100 wagered.

Different Soccer Betting Odds

Many sportsbooks in counties outside of the United States offer decimal or fractional odds. Decimal odds are especially popular throughout Europe and Canada while fractional odds are primarily focused on the UK market. But even if you don't live in one of these areas, it's important to note that fractional or decimal odds can be used by any sportsbook. Here's a quick look at how each one works so you're prepared:

Decimal Odds – An even-money bet on decimal odds starts at 2.0, and moves down for favorites and up for underdogs. You can see this effect in the following Premier League line:

(Favorite) Arsenal   1.85
Draw   2.35
(Underdog) Chelsea   2.55

By betting on Arsenal here, you are risking $1 to win $1.85 total ($0.85 profit). If you make a successful $1 wager on Chelsea, you'll earn $2.55 total ($1.55 profit). Those who make a winning Draw bet earn $2.35 for every $1 wagered.

Fractional Odds – These odds appear quite different from both decimal or moneyline odds. With fractional odds, the first number (numerator) represents what you stand to win, while the second number (denominator) shows what you need to wager. Here's a look at this in action with a Spanish La Liga line:

Barcelona   9/10
Draw   9/7
Real Madrid   11/10

In this example, you'd be betting $10 to win $9 in profit with the favorite, Barcelona. By wagering on the slight underdog, Real Madrid, you'd risk $10 to win an $11 profit. Assuming you bet on the match being a draw, you'd risk $7 to earn $9.

Types of Soccer Bets offered

So far, all of the examples that we've discussed involve bets on an entire match. But people should note that there are many different wagers offered through soccer betting.

One of the most popular wagers is the over/under (a.k.a. totals), where bettors must bet on whether the total goals scored will be over or under a certain amount. For example, the totals bet might be 3.5 goals, and those taking the under need 3 goals or less to be scored, while those betting the over need 4 goals or more.

Another interesting wagering opportunity is the "accumulator", where two or more bets are linked together. Basically, players bet on multiple teams and every single wager must come through for the accumulator to be a winner. Because bettors must win every single wager, accumulators offer big payouts for a small investment.

Soccer fans can expect to see lots of prop bets offered in many of the bigger games. Some of these wagers include betting on who'll score the first goal, who will score the last goal, the halftime score, how many saves a goalie will have, and just about anything else sportsbooks think of. Prop wagers are especially huge in events like the World Cup, high-profile Premier League matches, and the MLS Cup Playoffs.

As can be seen, soccer betting is loaded with chances to make money throughout the year. So if you're a big soccer fan who's looking to put some money on your favorite team, simply sign up at an online sportsbook and make a deposit.
